1. An accidental lab leak occurred prior to Sept 12, 2019.
2. Military World games were held in Wuhan in October 2019. Some athletes became sick with symptoms similar to COVID-19. About 60 Canadians got sick in Wuhan. Four countries that sent athletes (Brazil, France, Italy, Brazil) believe that the first cases of COVID-19 started in the November - December timeframe.
3. There was an uptick in hospital visits in Wuhan in September and October 2019 via satellite observations. My question is: is this during their flu season? They do have a chart that starts in 2018, but that isn't exactly a large enough time line as far as I'm concerned.
4. There was an increase in searches for "cough" and "diarrhea" in China's search engine. Once again, the chart only goes back to 2018. For "cough," there are actually time periods in 2018 were the word is searched far more frequently. As for "diarrhea," there is definitely an increase, but once again that data only starts in 2018.
5. The military took over as head of the biosafety level 4 lab in late 2019. China states that this takeover occurred in January 2020. A former senior U.S. official believes this happened in late 2019. Does the date really matter? I suppose the issue is: were the Chinese concerned enough about a lab leak that they sent the military in?
6. Sudden removal of WIV's virus and sample data down on September 12, 2019.
